Event Info & FAQ

The practical stuff — dates, location, and what to expect at 4BQ 2027.

When and where is 4BQ 2027?

April 23–25, 2027, in Augusta, Georgia, at a private location. We don’t publish the address: the exact address and arrival details are emailed to the purchaser after a completed ticket purchase, and they’re on your private order page.

What is Beats & Bars BBQ?

A celebration of the five elements — MCing, DJing, Breaking, Graffiti, and Knowledge — built around food, competition, and community. 2027 is the 5th year.

Do I need a ticket for every day?

No—there are day passes and a full-weekend pass. See Tickets & Passes for current prices and what each pass includes.

Can I bring my kids? What do children pay?

Child pricing resolved by Architecture v1.1 (2026-10-09): ages 6–13 pay $20 Friday / $25 Saturday, 5 and under free, 14+ adult Friday/Saturday; the Family Pack is retired. Sunday and Weekend for under-18s remain pending (supersedes RI-002, RI-003).

What if I can’t make it? Refunds and transfers

No refund, transfer or other attendee policies are set yet (RI-012).

How do I reach the organizers?

There’s no contact page, email or form on the site yet (RI-013).

Can I bring my kids? What do children pay?

Yes. Every day, including Sunday, is open to the whole family. Ages 6–13 pay $20 for Friday, $25 for Saturday, half the adult price for Sunday, and a reduced Youth Weekend Pass price (see Tickets & Passes). Children 5 and under attend every day free and still need to be registered by name. Attendees 14 and older use adult passes. Sunday and Weekend admission make you eligible to reserve a seat on the Sunday Patriot Riverboat cruise; admission itself doesn’t reserve or guarantee one. Advance reservation is required, and seating is limited and first-come, first-served.

What if I can’t make it? Refunds and transfers

You can request a refund until 11:59 PM Eastern Time on March 19, 2027, by emailing tickets@beatsandbarsbbq.com with your order number. Admission transfers aren’t self-service; contact the same address for help with an eligible transfer. See Ticket Holder Rights & Responsibilities for the details.

How do I reach the organizers?

By email. Tickets and registration: tickets@beatsandbarsbbq.com. General questions: info@beatsandbarsbbq.com. Vendors: vendors@beatsandbarsbbq.com. Ambassador Program: ambassador@beatsandbarsbbq.com. How we handle your information: Privacy Notice.

Is the event family-friendly? Is there parking?

Every day is open to the whole family. Parking and other logistics are still being finalized and will be posted here as they’re confirmed.

Is the event accessible? How do I ask for an accommodation?

Beats & Bars is an outdoor event, much of it on grass. We’re still confirming restroom, route, parking and drop-off, and boat-access details, and we’ll post them once they’re verified. If you need an accommodation, tell us what would help: email info@beatsandbarsbbq.com, or use the request form on your order page after you register. You don’t need to share a diagnosis. We review each request individually and follow up personally.

How do I get involved as a vendor or Legacy Builder?

Start on the Build With Us page for vendor and Legacy Builder details. Vendor questions: vendors@beatsandbarsbbq.com.

Where can I find the day-by-day schedule?
